SmartReader Plus 3 AC Current & Voltage monitoring all in one data logger

Easily and accurately record AC current and voltage data with ACR’s SmartReader Plus 3, the ideal monitoring tool for all-in-one data logging. Conduct energy baseline studies, determine energy consumption, analyze load, and monitor compressors simply by connecting the SRP3 logger to ACR’s current probes and record the data.

Applications of SRP3:

Conduct Energy Audits

SRP3 can optimize a building’s HVAC-R performance, improve run-time efficiency, lower utility bills, and avoid higher rates.

Sustainable Development Goals

Create an Energy Management Strategy with SRP3 that reduces energy waste, enhances sustainability, and helps improve “Global Goals”.

30-day Load Study

SRP3 facilitates compliance with NEC section 220.87 to protect both people and properties from overloads, and can easily determine whether systems can safely support additional loads.

Benefits of SRP3

Extended Life

Reliable, self-powered, and compact, the SRP3 can be left to monitor unattended for weeks, months, and even years.

Boost Savings

Use the SRP3 to quickly produce professional and detailed energy reports to highlight issues and improve cost savings.

Improve Efficiency

Easily monitor and improve energy efficiencies with SRP3 to help qualify for Energy Rebate Programs.

How the SmartReader Plus 3 Works

The SmartReader Plus 3 easily and accurately records AC current and voltage. Simply connect the logger to ACR’s current probes (which are clamped around the power leads) and voltage transducer and begin recording. From this data, you can also determine energy consumption (kWh) with TrendReader® Software.

The SmartReader Plus 3 Electric Current Data Logger has four current-monitoring channels, three 0-5 VDC inputs for connection to AC voltage transducers, and one internal thermistor temperature channel. The current monitoring channels are used with external clamp-on-current probes to measure and record alternating currents.

The following current probes are compatible with the SmartReader Plus 3:

The use of these probes allows you to measure the alternating current of conductors without the need for breaking circuitry.

Calibration

Data loggers are often used in highly regulated environments such as food and pharmaceutical production and storage where strict safety regulations apply. Regulatory agencies generally require proof of calibration.

ACR calibrations are performed using reference standards that have been calibrated and are traceable to the US National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST). This ensures that all ACR data loggers meet, and perform to, their published specifications, allowing you to be confident that they will assist you in achieving your compliance requirements.

Calibration certificates are provided with every calibration we perform. ACR Systems is an ISO 9001:2015 registered company and calibration records are kept as part of our quality system and can be made available for customer audits.
